Let me introduce myself. I'm Christopher Collins. Join me on a journey of resilience and healing through my lens. As a disabled military veteran, I capture beauty in contrast, transforming pain into perspective. Explore my portfolio and discover images of strength and light found in unexpected places.
As a disabled military veteran, my photography journey has been profoundly shaped by my experiences. After 8 years of service, I discovered that photography is not just a passion but a form of therapy that allows me to transform pain into powerful visual stories.
Each frame I capture is a meditation—a moment of stillness, of truth, of reverence. Through my lens, I seek to transmute pain into perspective, scars into stories, and fleeting beauty into something eternal. My work is not just an expression—it is a healing. It is how I re-enter the world, not as a soldier, but as an artist and healing father.
With every photograph, I offer a glimpse into the duality I’ve lived: the tension between destruction and creation, chaos and calm, the ugliness of war and the grace that somehow survives it. This is my gift I give to the world and to my self.
This is my journey, and I share it with you in hopes that others might see a little more clearly, feel a little more deeply, and heal in their own way.
Please take your time and wander through the gallery at your own pace— linger over the colors, trace the light, and let each photograph share its quiet story with you. Behind every frame is a fragment of my own path: moments of struggle, wonder, and hard-won hope captured during a veteran’s journey toward healing. My wish is that somewhere among these images you’ll discover a piece that stirs your spirit, reminds you of something beautiful you’ve lived, or whispers a new inspiration you didn’t know you were looking for.
If a particular print calls out to you—if it feels like it belongs on your wall or in the life of someone you love—know that your choice does more than bring art into a space. Your support becomes part of the story too: every purchase helps sustain my recovery and fuels my ability to keep creating, keep serving, and keep sharing these small windows of light with the world. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for visiting, for feeling, and for believing in the power of art to lift one another up.
If you have questions or perhaps you'd like to see the print on something else in the store, please send me a message below, and I'll be more than happy to see if and what I can do.
